Street Dreams: Ethiopia – Aideen McLoughlin
Aideen McLoughlin received funding in 2009 to make a radio documentary about the lives of street children in Ethiopia. “Street Dreams” tells the story of Dagmawi Kifle, a 14-year-old forced to survive on his own on the dusty streets of Addis Ababa. During the day he roots in bins for food and begs for money, but at night he dreams of being a film director.
